Hey everyone, if you haven’t been watching the skies this past year, you’ve been missing out! Tonight, we get a Full Blood Moon—a total lunar eclipse where the Earth’s shadow turns the Moon a deep, eerie red. If you’re in the U.S., step outside and take a look. It’s a sight you don’t want to miss!
It will be at full eclipse around 1:36 am in OKC.
But have you noticed how crazy the sky has been lately? In just the past year, we’ve had:
The Annular Solar Eclipse—that “ring of fire” eclipse last October.
The Green Comet—a rare visitor from deep space that we won’t see again for thousands of years.
The Super Blue Moon—a full moon that was both super AND blue (extra rare!).
Crazy Meteor Showers—some of the best and brightest we’ve had in a long time.
Huge Solar Flares—the Sun has been going wild, sending energy bursts toward Earth that cause radio blackouts and the Northern Lights to show up in unusual places.
And now, a Blood Moon to add to the list! 
Whether you believe in sky omens or just love looking up, this is another reminder that the universe is full of surprises.
