If the Blood Moon and extreme fire risk weren’t enough, Friday brings a serious severe weather threat across parts of the Southern Plains and Midwest. Strong storms are coming, and some could turn nasty fast. If you live in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, or Arkansas, pay attention—this could be a rough day.
What to Expect:
Damaging winds – Gusts over 60+ mph could knock out power and damage buildings.
Large hail – Some storms could drop hail the size of golf balls or bigger.
Heavy rain & flash flooding – Roads could flood quickly, so don’t drive into water.
Tornadoes? – While the biggest tornado threat is on Saturday, a few could spin up Friday evening, especially in Oklahoma and Texas.
This isn’t a day to ignore the forecast. Storms could develop fast and turn severe quickly. Stay weather-aware, have multiple ways to get warnings, and don’t take chances. I’ll be watching and posting updates, so stay tuned.
Be safe, y’all!
